Private Portrait Internet Banking/Bill Payment is a secure and convenient online service from The National Bank of Indianapolis. With just a click of a mouse, you can view and manage your own financial portrait from your computer, anytime and anywhere.

Private Portrait allows you to perform a wide variety of online banking activities, from checking balances to transferring funds. Most features are free of charge. And adding the optional Bill Payment feature allows you even more banking freedom and financial control.

To insure that your financial portrait be completely private, a multi-level security plan protects the site. When you enroll for Private Portrait, you will be assigned a unique customer I.D. and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). These may be changed the first time you use Private Portrait and anytime thereafter. All information you enter is secured using a 128 bit encryption code to insure that your activity is safe and confidential. We monitor all unusual account activity. We also provide you with numerous security features and tips to further enhance your security.


For technical questions about using Private Portrait Internet Banking, support is available 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. You can also send e-mail messages to Private Portrait Client Support by clicking the Support button on the Private Portrait menu bar. Client support is also available if you forget or lose your customer I.D. or PIN.


The Private Portrait Bill Payment feature is offered as an optional addition to your Internet Banking access. For an added monthly fee of $4.95, you may pay 20 bills directly from your designated checking account, eliminating writing checks and paying postage. Additional payments above 20 are only $.40 each. You may schedule payments to be made to businesses, utilities, credit cards, loans, and more. Also select when they are to be paid — one-time, in the future, or on a recurring schedule. Just select the bills to be paid, the amount to be paid and the due dates. You may also review payment history and receive pending payment updates.
