Private Portrait is an online service used by individual, business, and not-for-profit clients to access their accounts via the Internet, 24-hours a day. Private PortraitSM supports loans, deposits, and bill payment, as well as other banking functions. Access to Wealth Management accounts is available through the Portfolio Account Link.
To open an account with The National Bank of Indianapolis, or to gain access to Private PortraitSM, please visit or contact a National Bank of Indianapolis location that is convenient to you.
Private Portrait Internet Banking is available to individuals, as well as businesses and not for profits that do not use account analysis. Private Portrait Bill Payment is only available to individuals.
Private PortraitSM will allow you to:
- Access your bank accounts.
- Obtain account balance information.
- View summary or detailed reports.
- Access account activity and transaction details.
- Transfer money between accounts at the Bank.
- View and print monthly statements.
- Make loan payments and draws.
- Download information to Money or Quicken (Quicken version 2003 and higher).
- Pay bills.
- Send messages to Private Portrait Client Support.
Certain loan and deposit accounts are not included. Only personal accounts may use bill payment.
Private PortraitSM Internet Banking is available to clients of The National Bank of Indianapolis at no additional charge.
Private PortraitSM Bill Payment is available for $4.95 per month for up to 20 payments. Payments above 20 are $.40 each.

We have gone to great lengths to insure that there are many levels of security. You will be assigned a unique user ID and a password. The password must be changed by you the first time you use Private Portrait. Additionally, you may change your ID or password whenever you wish while you are using Private Portrait. All information you enter is secured using 128bit encryption to insure that all of your activity is safe and confidential.

Aside from an account with The National Bank of Indianapolis, you just need a computer, an Internet connection, and the latest version of a secure browser (such as Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera Browser, etc.). Yes, you can activate the password self-reset feature by signing on to Private Portrait and providing the required information. Log in to NBOFI>Private Portrait > Select Options > Modify Personal Settings > and enter a Password Reset Question and Password Reset Answer.
Occasionally the website will be unavailable so that we may perform routine maintenance. Be assured that any interruptions of service are infrequent and only temporary. Should you need access to your account immediately while the website is temporarily unavailable, please use Bank by Phoneat 317 261-BANK.
