Secure Email

We strongly encourage our clients to use the Secure Email Portal when transmitting any sensitive (financial or personal) information to us. The Secure Email Portal provides a web-based e-mail protection system that makes it easy for you to send, receive, read and reply to all our encrypted communications with the same level of security the Bank utilizes.

From the Secure Email Portal (URL: https://securemail.nbofi.com) you may:

  • Register for a new account
  • Retrieve secured email from The National Bank of Indianapolis
  • Send secured email to any address @nbofi.com
  • Reset or change your Secure Email password

Secure File Exchange

Secure File Exchange provides a web-based, confidential, and encrypted file transfer tool for securely uploading or downloading even the largest files.

To Send Files:
1) Go to Secure File Exchange (URL: http://nbofi.leapfile.net )
2) Click on the "Secure Upload" button
3) Select the person you are sending the files to
4) Enter: Contact Information, Message Information, and Choose either Regular Upload (for 1 file) or Enhanced Upload (for multiple files)

To Retrieve Files
1) Go to Secure File Exchange (URL: http://nbofi.leapfile.net )
2) Click on the "Secure Download" button
3) Enter your email address and the Tracking Code provided in your Secure Transfer Notification email
4) Click on the "Locate Transfer" button
