History Of Success
The National Bank of Indianapolis was founded in 1993 with a focus on superior service, local ownership and community involvement.
In 2008, NBI reached the enviable milestone of becoming one of the largest Indiana banks.
Starting in the early 1990's, many major banks in Indianapolis were acquired by large out-of-state financial holding companies. With a national banking charter granted by the Comptroller of the Currency and a holding company structure sanctioned by the Federal Reserve, the Bank's deposits carry full FDIC insurance limits.
Highly capitalized to support strategic growth in a constantly evolving industry, the vast majority of The National Bank of Indianapolis shareholders are concentrated in the Indianapolis metropolitan area-not Wall Street. The Bank’s experienced staff has strived to offer the highest level of local service and responsiveness while supporting the greater Indianapolis community. The results have created the largest locally-owned bank headquartered in greater Indianapolis and one of the nation’s fastest growing new banks.
While other banks are working on how to grow across the country, we’re working on ways to serve you better right here.
Welcome to The National Bank of Indianapolis. Serving you is our privilege.
